Scholar Spotlight: Jalen

Jalen, a 7th grader at Arlington Middle School, has a gift for connecting with everyone around him and leaving smiles on their faces. Our middle school summer camp trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was his favorite yet — he got to dive into more hands-on activities and explore with a real sense of freedom alongside his peers, including scholars from John Boner Community Center he’d never met before. Outside of DREAM Alive, Jalen loves traveling with his family and is already saving up for his next big trip. Way to go, Jalen!

Featured Summer Experience

To close out our summer programming, DREAM Alive treated over 50 high school scholars to an exclusive, opening-day private screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day! The energy was electric — scholars and staff showed up decked out in Spidey merch, ready for every twist. Watching our youth come together for the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was incredible! The theater was packed and the vibes were unmatched.
