DREAM Lunch Mentor
While DA starts mentoring in a group setting during the middle school years, the final high school years of mentoring our scholars are provided in a 1:1 setting during our scholars high school lunch hour. Our DREAM Mentors do life with our scholars and coach them into their future. To be able to serve the number of scholars we serve, we need your help!
What Does Being A DREAM Lunch Mentor Mean?
Get matched with a mentee and join them 1-on-1 at their school lunch hour twice per month. We have seen that a few hours of investment with a scholar over the school year with their mentor can make a huge difference in their life.
We are actively seeking professionals who would be willing to volunteer 2 hours of their time each month during their work lunch hour for our new lunch mentoring program.
Program Details:
12 sessions between September - April
Sessions take place at one of our high school sites (Arsenal Tech High School, Shortridge High School, or Purdue Polytech High School)
Specific dates and time slots will be made available by August 2024
DREAM Alive provides the lunch; we simply ask for your time!
