Volunteer Highlight: Amanda

I originally volunteered with Dream Alive at Shortridge under the leadership of Mr. Steve. I loved learning from Mr. Steve and growing in friendship and mentorship with scholars. I loved it so much that I volunteered as often as possible and was eventually able to go on staff with DA as they expanded their program to Arlington. Four of my scholars from Arlington actually sang at my wedding! Most recently I had the privilege of celebrating two scholars graduate from high school! I’m thankful for the relationship we were able to build and I am excited to continue investing in their lives as they are starting their college careers!
